The Gerard Herbst Poster Collection contains over two thousand posters, representing a selection of international design from the past four decades. It provides an overview of contemporary poster design practice in Europe, with a smaller amount of material from US, Japan, Asia, and Australia.

Donald Thomson was the first to document in detail the sacred meanings associated with the use of specific designs and patterns in the Yolngu art. He wrote extensively while in the field about how the works were created, the context for using specific designs, the classes of paintings and designs that moved from the sacred to the profane, and the embodiment of the power of the ancestors in painting.

Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire brings together more than 200 stunning works by Salvador Dalí in all media including painting, drawing, watercolour, etchings, sculpture, fashion, jewellery, cinema and photography.
